Great quality, I recommend. Obviously on the pricier side but I feel like I've avoided potential headaches and disappointment of a lesser priced/quality option. The wheels on the stand are fantastic for moving it around, something I doubt many others have. I noticed lots of options don't even come with a stand, to me that's just a cop-out from designing a complete product and experience.

Lack of customer service

It looks like it will be nice, but of the four granite slabs that make up the base, one arrived broken and the other doesn’t match the rest. When you pay as much as I did for this product you expect it to be right. If Canadian Tire customer service ever replies to my case and resolves this, perhaps I would be able to actually put this together and see if it works.

Q: Please clarify, why is the Assembled Weight listed as only 159 lbs when the Package Weight is 326 lbs? It appears they should be about the same weight, as no sand or water needs to be added to this particular umbrella base.

A: The package weight is 325.93lbs because this includes the weight of the parts, packing material and box. The base is premium granite and does not require sand.
