simple and bright little lights

Simple little string of bright, soft white lights suitable for a mantle or side table to accent decorations. We used it to illuminate a Lego Xmas village. One negative is the silly little battery/switch/wire combo built into the package to allow you to test them in the store and see what they look like. It's completely useless after you buy them. What a waste. Would be far better to just have one string on display

Q: Does anyone know how to set the timer on these lights? There are 3 positions but they aren’t labeled. Is the timer the middle or the end setting?

A: It's the middle. Turn it to that when you want them to come on and they go off after the time it says.
