Canadian Spa Company Chilliwack Far Infrared Sauna, 1-Person

Hopefully this appears with line breaks otherwise it's going to be a bear to read. We purchased this sauna instead of other slightly cheaper saunas due to its higher temperature and lower advertised EMR. I don't know if high levels of EMR are an actual problem or not, but for those who want to be particularly cautious, this sauna is an excellent choice. I measure 0.5mG in the centre of the sauna, about the same as in front of my computer. The sauna was easy to assemble with no tools. The manual we received was for an older version of the sauna, but we applied critical thinking and were able to figure things out. The included Bluetooth audio system is pretty cool. It's housed in a chassis about the size of a Raspberry Pi case. It worked perfectly the first try with my Galaxy S5 Android phone. Audio quality is a little light on the bass but otherwise sounds good. The included chromotherapy light is interesting. It mounts nicely on the sauna's ceiling and is not connected to the sauna's electrical system at all. You plug it in to a wall outlet separately and control it with a remote. The included cable isn't long enough for its 24V AC adapter to be plugged in without hanging and coming loose, so I made an adapter with some quick connect terminals and a C14/NEMA5-15R cable to tie the chromotherapy light to the exterior light circuit. This makes the wiring in my room look cleaner, and also the lights can now be turned on and off from the sauna's main control panel. The exterior lights are 12V MR16. I replaced the included halogen lights with LED. Minor issues that don't cause me to rate this any lower than five stars: - The sauna makes an annoyingly loud beep when you turn it on. - Canadian Tire staff erroneously told me the sauna had arrived when it in fact did not, so I drove 1.5 hours to the nearest Canadian Tire for no reason. - When it finally did arrive, I asked the staff to measure it, but they measured wrong. Fortunately it fit in my vehicle anyway. It comes in two packages, ~100lb and ~200lb. It was easy to fit into my minivan. All's well that ends well and we are very happy with our sauna.
