Was a little skeptical in buying these, but my 13 year old says they are really comfortable (yay to padded boots, and good-bye to ouchie skates!), and she loves them, allowing her to enjoy public skating twice a week. Love it! Even picked them up on sale...

Q: Hi, is the sizing chart based on men's or women's shoe size? I am a size 9 in women (therefore size 7.5 in men's) and don't want to get the wrong size based on this. Thanks in advance.

A: I followed the size chart and unfortunately, the skates were too small for my daughter. Her foot size is somewhere between a 9 1/2 to 10, so I ordered a skate size 8 that was on the chart. If I could do it again, I would have gone the size up. Also, they do not have half sizes, so definitely go at least a size or more larger! Note to also realize, the skates are lined with a plush white liner which probably makes the interior a bit smaller than you would think!! (The sizes are women’s sizes)

A: I can only speak to youth sizes. The kids had no problem with the ankle support, and the skates stayed straight up. Unlike some of the hockey-style skates we had experience with last year.

A: Hello, I am usually a size 8 and that is what I took. They fit perfectly on the foot. I would recommend stretching the upper part a little before you wear them as they are quite stiff. Hope this helps.
