    East to install. Bit of a pain to remove if you need to bring in the awning in a hurry. Hangs lights very easily.

    I bought these because I'd seen someone post them on a FB Boler owners page - they said it was a great way to hang solar lights so I bought a pack. Well, it started raining and it rained and rained so much I decided to try attaching a tarp to it so I could have some cover over my picnic table and a dry area to get in and out of my trailer. I didn't know whether they'd be strong enough but they worked AMAZING! I was able to hook the tarp by the grommet holes to the existing awning rail, and then use the Canadian Tire extension poles (about 1/6 the cost of MEC ones) at the other end, secured by a few ropes. For those of us who bought Bolers that didn't have an awning, they are truly amazing!

    Q: can these stay on the awning when you role it up or do the need to be removed first? Is one pack enough for hanging lights?

    • A: One pack should be enough for hanging your lights however that may depend on how many support locations you want. These clips MUST be removed prior to rolling up the awning. If you do not remove them, the awning will most likely get damaged. This situation may cause issues in the event of needing to retract the awning due to a sudden summer storm...It is what it is...camping.
