Great first pair.

A beginner in optics, I have had a few low end binos, but these are my first mid tier (entry tier???) binoculars. They perform excellent out of the box and have easy to use setup for beginners like me. Good for view at night and for my hiking, light enough to take in pack cycling, the compact fit works great, very clear image, much clearer focus than the other ones I had from another brand that would focus more quickly with less precision. good neck strap is grippy and comfortable. Smooth accurate focus and nice texture. My eyes are somewhat narrow, these are very close to being too wide, might not work great for children or others with very very narrow eyes but that's a basic specified measurement, and may be a limitation for roof prism 50mm binos. Only negative I noticed.
