Its not a night vision scope

This is an infrared viewing scope, it has no light amplification and is not the "green glowing light" night scope that it is being advertised as. You must use the included IR emitter or your own IR light to see anything in the dark, otherwise you just see black. Also there is no way to start the zoom at zero, its starts at 3x so you can't see anything nearby in focus.

i couldn't get it working but finally succeeded

I couldn't get it working but finally succeeded. I needed to make my own pin hole lens cover to limit brightness. It works well and I'm now looking at extending functionality. I posted test videos on YouTube and will continue. Manual was not enough -- needed some training. https://youtu.be/qpTRQt6fSz4 https://youtu.be/MhMP-epRflQ

    Amazing for the price. Stunning.

I just bought this thing today, and after reading the manual and using it, it is insanely amazing for the price. I can see things in seemingly pitch black even without the IR emitter. You can see stars that are not visible to the naked eye, aircraft, animals, etc. The ability to record good quality video is also an amazing feature however I have not put that to the test yet. I am thoroughly impressed. If you want to be able to see anything close up you will want this model as it is only 3x magnification with the ability to digitally zoom to 6x. I did not expect this amazing of a product.

    Feels and look good.

I bought this to use for hunting. Specifically, for when I walk in to my zone in the pitch dark, and wait until sunrise. I wanted to be able to spot game 50-400yards. To start, this is a very nice looking and feeling product. Good grip, nice button and has a degree of coolness associated with it. It takes 4xAA which is nice from a cost perspective, but a little heavy. The unit itself is quite heavy actually. The field of view is very tight, and the IR illumination is not very good. I found it hard to focus on anything greater than 50 yards. My biggest issue with this is that it is very bright to look at when you are out in low-zero light - even when it is on the lowest setting. It effectively kills your night vision in the eye you use. I used it for maybe 5 min. I returned mine the next day without issue. So in summary. Do not buy for use in hunting. Would be ok for for playing around the house or watching wildlife in the yard at night.

No, I do not recommend this product.
