Sump pump and connector needed a step down

One of these was perfect to join the new sump pump to the connection for my discharge hose. I did not need all three, but could not find just one by itself.

Q: Does this work for any 1 1/2 discharge sump pump?

A: This kit has been designed to fit to a 1 1/2" female pump discharge or piping adaptor to connect to a 1 1/4" male connector, or to a 1" male connector, or to a garden hose female adaptor, using one or two or the three fittings enclosed in the packaging.
