Whoa! How do you rate something that won't come to fruit (pun intended) for another six months? You have to assume that the fruits of your labor (yes, I know, another pun) will come to be much as promised. So what do I rate? I bought this kit because: it was on sale; because the package said, "Just add water!", and because I like watermelon. "Just add water!" How easy could this be? Then I noticed that on the back side of the package, there is some actual work involved in raising watermelon. It must be like raising children - a lot harder than it looks! What really made me decide to buy this is that I could give it to my granddaughter, which I did. I told her that this would be her private garden. That way, she'll do the actual work, and I'll pitch in and help her eat the watermelon. Sounds like a win-win to me. I gave it just three stars due to the delayed gratification nature of this product. I also noticed that the package says, "Made in Holland". They grow watermelon in Holland? Guess the place grows more than just tulips and daffadils.
