Questions

1 - 5 of 5 Questions

Q: Does this bag work well with other bulbs such as onions or asparagus or is it best used for potatoes?

2 Answers
  • A: It will work well for any vegetable, including onions and asparagus. The reason it is marketed as a potato bag is because there is a Velcro flap at the bottom to allow for early harvest of the potatoes. A bag with the flap will give you the flexibility to grow potatoes in the future and still gives you the option to grow other vegetables. A tip for growing onions in containers: Onions like well-drained soil, so be sure to check that water drains well and the soil you use doesn’t clog up the drainage hole. If you put a piece of tissue/newspaper/coffee filter/cloth at the bottom before putting the soil in, it will help with drainage!

Q: Does the bag include potato bulbs and soil? or the potato bulbs sold separately?

  • A: The product is only the bag itself. You will have to purchase soil and Seed Potatoes separately.
