The Ice Pack inserts have been changed :(

This is our 2nd Built Ice House Cube Lunch Bag. The first one lasted about a year and then the zipper died. Buying this 2nd one....we discovered the ice packs are now gel in plastic. Not of a fan of this gel in plastic because over time, the plastic shell breaks down (cracks, get poked with something or whatever) and the gel leaks out. Fortunately, we still have the hard shell ice packs from the first lunch bag, which we're using. We like the upright style of this lunch bag because it is easier to pop into a kit-bag,with a big thermos in the kit bag. Lunch bag interior is of good quality. Some are pretty flimsy material, but not this one. Important.

Such a great lunch bag! It has 3 ice packs, 1 on the bottom and an ice pack on each side. Easy removal of the ice packs and a quick zip up after inserting them back in the bag. My son takes it to school and when it comes home it’s still cool.

A: It would hold 6 cans of pop, with room on top, for a sandwich container. I've found it to be fairly durable.
