Louder than promised

I replaced my old bathroom fan with this one hoping for a much quieter fan, but this one is just as loud, not nearly as quiet as promised. I have hard exhaust tubing and all other elements in place that I shouldn't have an obstructed flow. It's just noisy and disappointing.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: Can this unit be installed in an exterior wall?

A: Most of the time NO, because the depth of the unit will is too deep to fit inside the wall space. Best to check all measurements prior to purchasing any bathroom fan. If the unit has clearance it can be installed inside a wall or ceiling, same ventilation if installed properly will be achieved.
