Great pad for the price

I'm a mid-40s scout leader and was able to sleep comfortably on a rocky campsite for a week on one of these. They're less expensive than the Thermarest brand, but for moderate camping they do the job! The only failure we have had is my son tore a strap off of one, but it didn't cause a leak.

Q: How does the auo-inflate work? My son is going to Cub camp and I want to know if this is easy enough to work that he can do this.

2 Answers

A: I'm a cub leader. They're easy, just open the valves and they inflate themselves. If he needs more air he can blow into the valves. To pack up, just open the valves again and roll it up to push out the air. Practice at home before camp!
