Great product

We have owned four of these as the first two were involved in an accident. Our daughters side door was hit straight on when she was three, she was perfectly fine. Given the extent of the damage the paramedics took her to the hospital for observation. We are thankful for this seat and how well it did what it needed to do. Replaced both seats that were in the car after the crash with the same. The main drawback is how hard it is to tighten the straps, there are far easier systems for this. But our experience was 100% excellent.

Base Model for Britax

This car seat is the base model for Britax harness to booster. It does NOT work in all vehicles to get a tight secure fit. If your belt buckles are rigid, and face slightly forward (as most newer vehicles have) this seat will NOT install tightly and securely. I even met with a certified car seat tech and she informed me this seat will not work in all vehicles. Very disappointed in Britax that they wouldn't include the click tight install system in all booster seats. Returned this one and ordered the Frontier Click tight. Of course it costs more than the Pioneer, but it installs beautifully and most importantly SECURELY!!

Awesome car seat

We were between Britax and the Graco 4ever. Both are excellent brands. We had Graco travel system and it was good. Now we wanted try Britax and the car seat is awesome. We are very happy with it.
