I have bought Brita Water Filter Pitchers before and, although they say Toronto water is pretty good (which is true), I still find a difference in the taste of water that comes out of the Brita Filter Pitcher. The pitchers last a long time, and the filters last a fairly long time, depending of course, on how often the pitcher gets refilled. Once they had filters that told you when it was time to replace them. That would be an excellent feature to re-introduce as it takes the guesswork out of when to get new filters.
