      Briggs & Stratton for quality!

I bought this product after being disappointed time and time again by many of their main competitors in the electric power washer realm, because I know that Briggs and Stratton means quality. This product is no exception. It has the power for the main jobs around the house, whether it be washing your car, deck, sidewalk or outdoor furniture. I was very impressed with the selector nozzle which gives you the option of two detergent pressures. I can see this product lasting a long time with the proper maintenance, which is outlined in good detail in the owner's manual - and Canadian Tire offers this product at a very competitive price!

      Yes, I recommend this product.

      Returned it.

Bought the Briggs & Stratton 1800psi pressure washer, it was easy to assemble and the 7 in 1 selector nozzle is really handy as you just need to turn the nozzle for a different spray. The hose seems really sturdy and because of that is somewhat difficult to roll back in to the hose reel, my handle kept folding down while I wound it which added to the difficulty. Unfortunately this pressure washer was only used for approx. 10 minutes before the motor stopped working. It did not ever start again. The left wheel also kept falling off - it's not screwed in, just snaps in.. poor design there. This was returned to CT and I purchased the Simoniz 2000psi model, I have used that for a couple of uses now and so far so good.

No, I do not recommend this product.

      Questions

      1 - 6 of 6 Questions

Q: What is the cpu I calculated it at 7200 which seems very high for an electric

      1 Answer
      • A: Cleaning Units is a calculation by multiplying the PSI by the GPM. Because the Powerflow unit has such a high GPM, it gives a much higher cleaning units figure. 1800 PRI x 4.0 GPM = 7200.

Q: Can this pressure washer draw water from a water barrel or pond instead of a hose ?

      1 Answer
      • A: No, water has to come in through a hose connected to a faucet with at least 20 to 40 psi and the flow has to be continuous.
