Easy to use, powerful little machine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Braun MultiMix 2 Hand Mixer HM 2110 is a great, easy-to-use mixer. It’s powerful, mixes smoothly, and feels comfortable in hand. The speed settings work well, and it’s easy to clean. It doesn’t come with a storage case, but overall, it’s a reliable and stylish kitchen tool.

Beater release buton doesn't work

Purchased this mixer twice (thought the first mixer was defective) so it was re-ordered. The beaters do not release when pressing the button. You have to press the release button then pull out the beaters by hand.

Strong chemical smell

This might be fine, but the extremely strong chemical smell has not faded ANY and I have even left it outside on a porch to see if that would help. It smells even before you turn it on. It's so strong that I don't trust it near my family's food. It smells like toxic waste. Do better, Braun!

Poor beater quality

The mixer is great, lightweight and super quiet. MultyWhisk beaters do the job well and fast, but unfortunately the way they are made doesn't make them long lasting: after just two and a half months of light use, one of the beaters snapped off (I took a photo but the form doesn't let me to upload it!!). I wish this model came with solid stainless steel beaters rather than molded in plastic. How can I get a replacemnt?

Braun Multimix 2 Hand Electric Mixer

I purchased this mixer because of the Brand Name and because it had metal beaters. Many high end hand mixers now have the plastic on the beaters to allow them to be quieter. However, I’ve read people say the plastic falls off into their batter so I didn’t want any part of that. This mixer is quiet and I like that is has no plastic on the beaters. I don’t like that it doesn’t seem to have powerful speeds. Even the turbo isn’t as powerful as the “medium” setting on my previous mixer. Also it doesn’t have a slow start feature when turned on initially.
