    Replacement blades not available

    I am a professional plumber, I thoroughly enjoyed using this tool, until it came time to replace the blade. While Brasscraft lists the part no. T447 as a replacement blade, the only place locally or online I've seen it for sale is woodhill supply which is a Cleveland Ohio based company, and the cost of the blade is half that of the tool, and a special order only item. I am thoroughly disappointed and will never buy another Brasscraft tool. if you can buy the tool anywhere you should be able to purchase blades as well.

    No, I do not recommend this product.

    While the tool itself looks and feels cheap, it's actually really fantastic at doing the one job for which it was designed: cutting PEX. The twin anvil jaws force you to make perfect 90-degree cuts, regardless of how tightly coiled the PEX roll is, and the blade is razor sharp. The force required to cut is so low, you'd think there was maybe a return spring on the handle offering the resistance, not a piece of plastic pipe.

    Yes, I recommend this product.
