Q: Anybody know the dB rating (noise level in decibels)?

A: Very similiar to air all other Ir compressors. Uncomfortable to be in a room while it's filling without ear protection. I suggest cordless options from Dewalt, milwaukee etc. (Stay away from worx cordless)

Q: Can this product be safely stored in cold Canadian garage? I can "prep" it for the winter in any way possible like drain the lines and drain water in the tank.

A: YES IT CAN BE STORED IN THE COLD JUST MAKE SURE YOU DRAIN THE TANK WHEN YOUR DONE WITH IT AND LEAVE THE DRAIN VALVE OPEN TILL YOU REFILL IT WITH AIR AND NEED IT AGAIN

A: This is for nail guns so I am not sure I would use it for painting, or with any liquid. I would purchase the appropriate pressure item for that to be on the safe side.

A: Hi DanW, Unfortunately this nailer does not handle staples it only accepts nails. If you were interested in a brad nailer/stapler gun I would recommend taking a look at the 058-0052 / SB-2IN1 also listed on Canadian Tire

Q: Is this Bostitch compressor powerful enough to blow out residential sprinkler system?

A: No. The reserve of volume air in the tank is insufficient for that application. The compressor cannot produce enough high demand volume for such long runs of piping. Te best and cheapest method for sprinkler systems is a leaf blower (gas or electric). A reducer tip is available to fit most blowers and simply attach to you sprinkler. A shop vac is also a good method. Simply attach the vacuum hose to the outlet marked "exhaust" or "blower" or "outlet". Hope this is helpful.

Q: compressor is constantly running after reaching the 110 setting. I am using it with 18 gauge 1 1/2" brad nails and after driving maybe 20 nails the compressor comes on again even though the dial shows plenty of air. Is this normal ?
