I like how the Pelican is on the water so steady and stable. I do have a hard time moving it by myself as it is very awkward due to there are no handles on it! It was something I didn't notice when I purchased it. Someone had brought it out from the store and loaded it into my truck for me so I still did not notice it until the other day when I had to load it myself into my truck

Not the right fit for Puslinch Lake

Sadly the siton kayak doesn't work for me ... Too hard to get off of because I live at a very weedy lake where it is difficult to walk and I lack the upper body strength to just stand up. I tried one at a much nicer lake with a sandy bottom so I could just stand up.
I should have given it more thought but hopefully I can get it to a more appropriate surroundings.

Q: Will installation of a different seat prevent your bottom from getting wet, or is there any way to prevent a wet bottom?

A: The design of this kayak makes a low spot where the seat is. Any water off the oars or splashing into the kayak will end up at the seat. The Pelican Sentinel 100 doesn't have this problem and has a better seat but is a bit more expensive.

A: The handle is in the front and ends, it is good for two person to lift it. But is there any side handle can be bought for this kayak. There is no place to hold in the side, this means very hard to carry by one person.
