a couple of good years
a year ago
I bought this product a couple of years ago for a trip with a long layover. It worked well for the first couple of years but about a week ago I was charging it on the same wall with the same cable as always and the battery puffed up, partially opening up the outer casing, and it no longer holds a decent charge. The product only has a 1 yr warranty (despite the hefty price tag) so even if I had held into the receipt, I wouldn't have any real options.
No, I do not recommend this product.

I purchased this item for our camping trip to Banff and this product was able to charge my wife's and my Samsung Galaxy cellphones twice each on one charge. It has become an important part of our cellphone charging practice when we are away from outlets.

A: Check to see if the breaker tripped on the breaker box or try plugging the power bank into another outlet as I have had power outlets die before! If none of this works then I would return the power bank to Canadian tire and exchange it for a new one!

A: From my testing, I'm pretty sure the outputs are in parallel. Either one will provide 2.1A. However that is combined. Don't expect to charge 2 devices at 2 amps.
