High Failure Rate-NOMA 14W Dimmable CFLs

Determined to reduce energy use, I bought 55 of these things for our new home. They are failing at about 5 per week despite use in accordance with instructions. Canadian Tire cheerfully replaces them but they are clearly a crummy product. What happens when the 1 year store warranty expires?

The only ones we use!

As with most people, We have recently replaced all of our regular light bulbs with fluorescent ones. We originally tried other brands but now, NOMA is the only brand we use.

Incredibly white light

I've tried a lot of different types of cfl bulbs and this one gives quite a ghastly white light and makes the room look harsh and uninviting. It's not the worst I've used, but I wouldn't recommend them for living rooms and dining rooms. Works well in the garage and furnace room though.
