It gives a soft glow even at the 100W equivalent. If you need something brighter than try the other tri-light at CT. It might give off more lumen.

A: No, they are not dimmable, only works in tri-light situation. For dimmable bulb in the 100W equivalent range try 052-5183 or 052-5100.
