Poor quality

I bought this recently and the first time we used it to cook pancakes.It burned a brown strip, right above the element.And the rest of the pancake hardly even changed color it was so badly uneven, and it's heating. Also, the lid had no grommet around the hole in the lid.Just the rough glass edge and not at all happy with it. It's a very thin cheaply built appliance that suffers uneven heating even after it's allowed to warm up for ten or fifteen minutes.
No, I do not recommend this product.

J'ai acheté ce produit en juillet, et jamais que la température demeure constante. La température semble être au bon niveau et l'instant suivant plus rien ne chauffe. Je déteste ce produit et je n'ai plus la facture pour un retour.

The external dimensions without the probe inserted are approximately 6" high (15.2 cm) with the lid on, 4" without (10.2 cm), 19" long (48.2 cm), and 12" wide (30.5 cm).

Q: Way did the size of the skillet change, new ones are much smaller? Purchased a new B@D skillet and it is much smaller than my old one. And cannot immerse the new one in water to wash.

A: This model is in fact smaller than the model you may have purchased several years ago. This model is in fact a skillet, the older model you are referring to was discontinued by the company almost 3 years ago. It was referred actually as a Deep Dutch . All skillets can in fact be immersed in water as per the instruction manual. You just need to remove the probe first. The probe is not to be immersed in water.
