Drill review 15 yes in

This was one of the first tools I got while still renting. Have been using this drill for about 15 years and is still my first grab for repairs. Build deck, storage shed and several repairs over that time both here and at friends. Still a workhorse. Have about 45 tools/outdoor tools that run on the 20v system and about 18 batteries and no problems yet.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Something a little Different.

I saw this and was intrigued. It won some award for best new product in Popular Mechanics. The batteries in my existing NiMH cordless tools were on their way out so I'd decided to replace them with Li-Ion versions as I went along. This drill is both a clever design and excellent performer, earlier this week I was driving 3 inch concrete screws without any problems. I've been using mine for 7 years and it's still going strong. The auto-sensing screwdriving feature does take a bit of getting used to because it's so different to the clutch mechanism on all other drills (which in turn seems to make it a unique product) but stick with it and like me you'll never go back. It's tough but so small and light - with a 1.5 aH battery it's half the weight of my 1/2" cordless hammer drill so I can wield it all day without fatigue. The drain seems minimal; a charged battery lasts for days. The clutchless design makes it lighter but VERY MUCH shorter allowing it to go places and fit into gaps no other drill can. It's easily my goto drill handling ~90+ percent of tasks though there are circumstances where something bigger is needed. Yes, the RPMs are limited but this is not usually an issue. If I'm drilling a lot of holes then I'll use my bigger drill at ~2000 rpm to make the holes then keep the B&D for screwdriving. Overall very good and I hope B&D keep making it.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Drill Stopped Working

Purchased drill in Dic 2019 for ocassional house work; on December 2021 just over the 2 year limited warranty - I pulled the drill out ; the battery shows charge but drill is NOT moving any more. Frustrating to say the least.
