    Okay, so this product is NOT a super duper robust product. But, if you want a light/medium duty circular saw, and only need max 1.5" of cutting depth, it will do fine. I trimmed a pine door with it. First cut... PROBLEM!!! The edge of the guide was NOT parallel with the blade, so the back portion of the blade was cutting deep into the off-cut. SOLUTION: Put the unit on the floor on its side, and use my foot and hands to bend the soft-metal base plate into alignment. Good tool!!
