Not as good as I was expecting

I suppose you get what you pay for, but considering it was regular 49.99, I thought it would be a good coffee maker. As others have stated, I find it spills easily and the sneak a cup feature is not that great; coffee always pours out when you remove the carafe. I don't find the element hot enough either. Looks like I'll have to spend more to get more.

shame all of the bad reviews. I guess we have been lucky. Ours has lasted over two years now and works great. Now that they are on sale at 50% off I will be buying another for backup when this one finally does calf. Yes you do get spillage when puring the water into the machine, but I have yet to find a coffee maker that doesnt have this problem. We love ours and would recommend it. Cheers

Received item as a gift. Followed instructions, to clean prior to using and water would not pump out of machine into carafe. Could not use it at all. Worst item ever. Had a B&D coffee maker before with no problems, but this model is a dud.

A PRETTY GOOD COFFEE MACHINE

Just picked this up on sale for 50% off. Not sure what everyone is complaining about. Coffee pours no problem, no spilling. No problem filling the machine with water either. Spout doesn't spill or drip as others have mentioned. for the price you get the basic features. timer is the best part. coffee is ready when you get up.

Not a Great Buy

I bought this B&D coffee maker yesterday and made my first pot of coffee this morning. I poured the first cup and it was all over my counter. There was more on the counter than in my cup. I will be packing it up and returning it this morning. The coffee comes out from where the glass is joined by the plastic on the carafe.
