Best Residential Carpet Cleaner.

By far the best carpet shampoo machine I have ever owned. It removed several long standing stains that other machines couldn’t. I wish it had a large dirty water container as you need to empty it twice for every gallon of cleaning solution. But it works great. .

Just as advertised. Did a great job on an area rug that was very dirty. Took out all the stains!! The furniture cleaning attachment cleaned the couches and they look like new!
Hint: I used "Dawn Detergent". About a tablespoon. Worked like a charm. No residue. Smelled fresh.

Im so glad i bought one what a great produxt at a great value. It works extremely well and is easy to use. The carpet dries fairly quickly. I have gone over areas several times and it picks up a lot of embedded dirt and hair. Its great to have if you have kids. Spills happen all too often.

Honestly we had some major pet poo incident on a white carpet….. thought it was ruined. This carpet cleaner made it cleaner and look better than before the accident! Get it, you won’t regret it!

Q: The product name is Proheat 2X.Does the machine heat the water or just uses hot water manually poured in tank?

A: It won't heat up cold water for you - BUT the hot water you put in is supposed to be kept hot. Not terribly certain if it does ... however, it does do a good job! My one complaint is that my old machine kept solution separate from the water tank and would mix/use only what you need at the time. By having to mix all the water with this model, if there is some left over, you would have to empty and heat up next time.

Q: Is this safe to use on an area rug that is on top of hardwood floors? Will it make the hardwood floor damp underneath ?

A: The machine does an awesome job! My only reservation would be the size of the tank. The older models had a much bigger tank. If you don't mind refilling and emptying fairly often on bigger rooms, then I'd say, go for it.

A: It depends what setting you have it on. There is are 3 settings that indicate how deep you want it to clean. The express setting doesn't take long to dry, but the deepest clean will take a few hours to dry.

Q: I just did my carpeted stairs using the hose, very little dirty water went in the tank and the spin brush part is leaking a pool of water on my floor. What am I doing wrong?

A: Darshan, this machine could be used on area rugs if they are safe to deep clean. It's not meant for dry vacuuming and won't work well for that purpose as it's a carpet cleaner.
