to take care of unexpected cat vomit & to clean up after a sloppy husband. This green machine saved me on Christmas Eve. Thankfully it was a couple hours before our family arrived. This is basically an electric Squirrel bottle with a wet vacuum, I should have bought an upright shampoo machine.

A: You can use it either way. If you are using it for a larger area, you'll need to emty and refill tanks as it's designed to be portable for spot cleaning.

Q: Does the water used seep to wood floors underneath?

A: You determine how much water and formula you put down. It won't suction all the water from your carpet. If you are using it as directed on wall-to-wall carpet with padding it should not be an issue.
