Bissell Little Green HydroSteam™ Pet Portable Corded Deep Cleaner

Absolutely LOVE this little machine! It is extremely easy to use and does a fantastic job at cleaning up our youngest puppy's little messes when she gets excited in the carpeted rooms. Even my husband learned how to use it!!

Works really great on furniture and carpets

Does a reasonable job of cleaning but if feels like it didn’t get a lot of testing before release. There are improvements over older models but plenty of things that could be better. I like that everything is easily cleanable, including the hose self-cleaning feature; big improvement over an upright model I have, and the vacuum seems adequately powerful. There are a bunch of areas where a little more thought would have made a big difference, as well as one major design flaw: - the main wand is awkward to hold without pressing the spray button, making dry passes often turn wet accidentally - the spray pattern is narrower than the vacuum nozzle, leaving carpets stripy unless you overlap passes a lot - the steam is fairly inconsistent, sometimes very strong, other times none at all - the hose is stiff and the wand only swivels about 45 degrees (which I assume is a limitation of having vacuum and solution channels) which makes holding the wand flat awkward - the power cord should be about 10cm shorter or longer - winding it around the posts relatively snugly leaves the plug right at one post, not clippable to the cord - there aren't enough storage points for all the attachments The biggest oversight is in the vacuum exhaust. The exhaust is on the flat bottom of the unit. This is fine on hard floors but when set on anything more than a very low carpet the exhaust is blocked, potentially reducing the machine’s effectiveness and causing overheating.

I have only used this machine twice so far, but I am very happy with it. I had two stains on my carpet that my old Little Green Machine could not get out. Using the steam setting on this unit removed those stains. I was also pleased to discover that this unit is very easy to clean, much easier than the old one was. The lid comes completely off the dirty water tank, making it very easy to empty and clean the tank. The carpet tool also comes apart, allowing it to be easily washed clean.

I really like the size and performance of this portable steam carpet cleaner. It works wonders for small jobs on carpet and on tile, too.
