The battery has not replacement

This is our second unit in 4 years. On both occasions, the battery died without warning. The troubling part is that Bissell does not provide any replacement for the battery - you need to buy the whole unit again, which seems to be quite a ploy to make people buy new units every couple of years, even when everything seems to be ok and its just the battery. I am sure, its time to buy a different brand now - never buying this again. Why would a company not provide a battery replacement - its mind boggling.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Its ok.

We upgraded to this vacuum from our central vacuum. I find it pushes dirt around and often gets clogged by pet hair even though it's a pet vacuum. The last straw for me now is that it has started dumping out everything I just vacuumed into a pile out of the power head when I shut it off... so I end up sweeping a huge pile of dirt up after each use. I am now upgrading again.. only 2 years later
No, I do not recommend this product.

Brush Roller Melted and warped.

I am writing this review because I have contacted Bissell and they could not resolve my issue with this vacuum. My Brush Roll melted and warped and I've only used the vacuum minimally in the year and 1/2 I have had it. I e-mailed Bissell support and was told I should have been changing parts every 4 months, which is shocking because who wants to do that and especially the brush roller. I actually did love using this vacuum but knowing that is it built with such cheap material that has to be replaced constantly, I no longer feel confident in purchasing Bissell products as I feel I am getting scammed in to buying new parts constantly. This is a shame and I really did not want to write this review but I don't want others being affected like I was when purchasing products that aren't sustainable or only good for a little while. Please do better Bissell.

Great vacuum if you have pet hair it’s a must, battery life is awesome and it collects all the hair. The front light is nice too for hardwood

Q: Can you replace the flexible hose between the vacuum head and stick? We've only had ours for about a year and it just cracked open so there's no sunction if the handle/stick isn't straight up and down over the vacuum head.
