I don't recommend

Partially picks up loose dirt and gravel on hardwood floors but tends to push dirt away. Not good on low pile carpets.

short handle

Its not a bad little sweeper for in between cleaning , picks up a fair amount of dirt if you go over the area repeatedly .......but why is the handle so short? I am a short person and its even too short for me making it hard on the back !

A: It will pick up hair. I have cats and it works great on mats and carpet. You have to clean the brush periodically and empty it . Great product.
