False Advertising from Canadian Tire

Please adjust your description of this vacuum cleaner. It clearly is not intended for carpet as described on the packaging. I was told after putting my credit card through that it could not be returned only exchanged - no mention of that in the flyer. Is this the way Canadian Tire is doing business now? Seems to do a good job for what it was intended, but now I have to buy a second vacuum cleaner - elsewhere.
