A: Salut Alainord ! Merci d'avoir choisi Bionaire®️. Nous comprenons que vous vous demandez pourquoi votre purificateur d'air souffle de l'air froid. Nous sommes plus que disposés à résoudre ce problème pour vous. Tous les purificateurs ont un ventilateur pour faire circuler l'air, donc selon la température dans la pièce (surtout en hiver), l'air sortant du purificateur peut être un peu froid. C'est normal. Le purificateur lui-même ne produit pas d'air froid. Bonne journée!

Q: does this product help eliminate vocs?

A: Our air purifier will remove odours which will reduce the effect of VOC’s it will not actually remove the VOC.

Q: Is it normal for the Bionaire Tower Filter to only blow filtered air in some areas of the vent (where the air comes out from)? Since it is a "tower" I was kind of expecting for filter air to blow out of the unit from top to bottom but it only appears to be venting middle and lower parts of the unit? What gives?

A: The Bionaire tower air purifier is specially designed to have the maximum amount of air flow through each of the units 2 filters. The unit has strong CADR ratings of: Smoke 151; Dust 142; Pollen 172. This is higher than most towers in this category and will do a room size of 234 sq feet. While it might seems strange where the air comes up, the proof is in the results.

Q: does the bionaire tower air purifier #43-5977-4 produce ozone

A: Any air purifier with an ionizer will create ozone. All Bionaire air purifiers fall within the exposure limits set by UL 867. With this Bionaire model, you can turn off the ionizer and still help to clean your air.
