Bionaire Ceramic Heater

We needed a small, quiet, low wattage, heater for our downstairs powder room. This little heater is great because after you turn it on, it will sense when no one has used the bathroom for 30 mins. After 30 mins of no motion in the bathroom, the unit goes into standby mode and waits for 90 more mins. If someone uses the bathroom during those 90 mins it will automatically reset and start the 1/2 hour heat, 90 minute standby cycle. Perfect for when you have guests who are using the power room while visiting. As well it has a high (800 watts) and low (400 watts) setting. 400 watts is a super low power setting which means that this unit will generally not overload shared electrical circuits... The unit also has a little black slider switch at the bottom (back) for times when you want to turn off the motion sensor... This means you could turn off the sensor and have the heater stay on for as long as you like. The one got-cha with this unit is that it's either on of off at either one of the two heat settings. Not a big deal for our powder room application. The low 400 watt setting works just fine in our small 4 X 6 bathroom. Not too hot, not too cold... One last thought... If you plan to use this unit in a bathroom double check to make sure the outlet has a GFI breaker (main panel or outlet)... Always remember, safety first... :-)

It heats up instantly. The heat wind comes out directly. I feel very safe to use even though I put my feet close to the heat. Works well in the office space.
