Bad product, leaks, warranty, leaks still.

Whoever designed, engineered, tested and approved this should be fired. How does this thing pass through all the hoops to get made into production? This thing is the worst thing in the world. Leaks and floods your home. Doesnt matter if you have the perfect seal and do everything right. The way its engineered uses gravity to stop the water from flowing doesnt work at all. The valve on the water tanks get stuck open ALL THE TIME. Even if you clean and maintain the seal on the valve. Even if you send it in for warranty, the new one I got does the same! They dont want to warranty the second one saying its a common normal problem that the valve is a bad system and leaking and causing water damage is normal according to bionaire.
No, I do not recommend this product.

I agree with the others who have had leakage problems. Mine also leaks all over the floor. Have had to stop using it

the tanks leak water if not put in very carefully, one of our tanks after 6 months cracked and leaked water all over the floor, which damaged our floor, I would never purchase this model again

silencieux en mode continu ,
bruyant comme une tondeuse à puissance maximum .
le premier qu'on a eu était mort dans la boite.
le deuxième à fonctionné en continu 2 hivers et marche encore.
l'appareil doit être bien au niveau sinon il est possible que le bac déborde. Aussi , il faut s'assurer d'avoir bien fermé/scellé les réservoirs avant de les déplacer .
Went through a couple different ones before settling on this one. It has been working well for a long time now.

Q: Is this suppose to run quietly on low?
When I switch to the low setting there is a vibrating noise, is that supposed to happen? There is nothing on or around it vibrating and you don't hear it on high? It sounds like the motor on the fan is vibrating.

A: Hi Elizabethfry! Thank you for contacting Bionaire®️. We understand that you want to know how often you have to clean the Bionaire 36-Hour Cool Mist Humidifier, 3.7-Gallon with model number BCM3855CN. We are more than willing to answer this for you. We have daily and weekly cleaning, which will be provided below. Daily Maintenance: 1. Be sure the humidifier is switched OFF and the unit is disconnected from the electrical outlet. 2. Remove the tanks from the humidifier and place them in the sink or tub. 3. Carry the base of the unit to the sink, remove the wick filter, place in sink, drain any remaining water. Wipe clean, and dry with a clean cloth or paper towel. 4. Drain the water from the tanks into the sink and rinse each tank thoroughly. Wipe clean, and dry with a clean cloth or paper towel. 5. Put the filter back with the filter support, close the front
door, then refill the tanks with cool tap water as instructed earlier in the Filling Instructions. Do not overfill. 6. Follow Operating Instructions. Weekly Maintenance - Removing scale: 1. Repeat steps 1-4 above. 2. Partially fill the base with two 8 oz. cups of undiluted white vinegar. Leave this solution in the base for 20 minutes, while cleaning all the interior surfaces with a soft brush. Remove base scale by wiping the base with a cloth dampened with undiluted white vinegar. 3. Rinse with clean warm water to remove the cleaning solution before disinfecting the tank. To Disinfect Humidifier Base and Tank: 1. Fill Humidifier Base with 2 gallons of water and 1 teaspoon of chlorine bleach. 2. Fill each tank 1/2 full with water and 1 teaspoon of chlorine bleach. 3. Let the solution stand for 20 minutes, swishing every
few minutes. Wet all surfaces. 4. Carefully empty the tank after 20 minutes, and rinse with warm water until you cannot detect any bleach smell. Dry with a clean cloth or paper towel. 5. Depending on the water hardness in your area, it may be necessary to change the filter every month. Re-insert the wick filter into the filter support. 6. Refill the water tanks as directed with cool tap water, replace the humidifier housing, and turn the Control Knob to On Have a nice day!

Q: Humidifier Running Time?
I set the Humidifier at the lowest humidity setting but the unit keeps running, even so the overall humidity level has increased, why?

A: Hi Shop2go! We understand that you are wondering why your humidifier's humidity level has increased even if you set it to the lowest humidity setting. We are more than willing to address this for you. It looks like you selected the “Stay On” setting which is allowing the unit to run consistently – nonstop. This model is equipped with a digital humidistat control that allows the user’s to set the humidifier to the desired comfort level by pressing the +/- buttons (on the LED Control Panel) to adjust the humidity level ranging from 45% to Stay On setting. The corresponding humidity will illuminate once selected. When the humidity level rises above the set humidity, the humidifier will stop. When the room humidity level drops below the set humidity, the humidifier will turn on automatically to maintain the preset humidity level. Have a nice day!
