Betty Crocker old style kettle

I bought this white plastic kettle with illumination on handle 2 years ago. I do not like that kettle is plastic, bought it cause on sale. Presently when turn on it stops after 4 secounds but does not turn off & light stays on presently. I have to shutbitvoff and turn back on to boil. It also started to rust inside. I recently bought a more expensive Longderm kettle, without temperature controls that is sreel inside and outside coloured still with light on on / off button for $50 that is much better quality. I would not buy a Betty Crocker kettle again Also both kettles are 1500 watts but Longdeem is much hotter. I think because of all metal, it holds heat better.

After 2 months inside bottom plate started to rust . Soon after stopped working. Will never buy product from this brand.

Hot Water Cordless Kettle Leaks. Haven't used it much but one day this week , I had water all over the counter. Where it is leaking from , I don't know and wonder if its worth repairing. It looked at some of the posted reviews and it seems they all have this problem . Wonder What Betty Crocker is doing about it? before this , it worked well but I don't know if I can trust this unit since so many others have same problem. I wont be taking the chance on buying another Betty Crocker. I feel they should replace it as it seems they are all defective

perfect kettle

I just bought this kettle, I perviously owned a betty crocker kettle which i purchsed from canadian tire 4 years ago and it just died on me now and that was from using it all day everday for heating up water for bottles for 2 years. I love this new one very sporty looking and is very quite and heats up quick. Avery trusted brand .
