So far it's been amazing. Weather hasn't been below 8C so will see how it performs. We keep it at 102F, No problem staying in it for an hour+ and maintaining temp. We don't run the air jets often, from other reviews it drops the temp quickly. We've run them for 15min during the day to aerate and haven't noticed a major drop in temp, however the air temp had been 10-12C. We added a layer of 1/4" foil backed foam between the covers bladder and the cover itself which seems to help with heat retention when not in use. We wrapped the pipes from the pump to the tub with the same material, plan on making an insulated box to fit over the pump, and will skirt the tub with the foil material if need be. Our Okanagan winters aren't too harsh but can get to -20C so extra insulation should help. Will update after we've had winter experience with it. Overall, we're very happy with the performance and looks, we paid $550 on sale which we thought was a bargain.

Q: Had a Coleman inflatable a few years ago had 2 problems, 1) heater would shut off after 3 days, not good if we go away in winter. 2) had terrible smell of plastic chemicals, any of these issues anyone? We returned ours after 2 weeks

A: I never had any trouble with anything to do with the spa. The chemical smells were “normal” from the chlorine. I used it at two ranch houses, in the basements. Wish I could use it here.

A: Thanks for reaching out! The unit already comes with a reinforced cover, so you don’t need to purchase an extra one. You can add the EnergySense Thermal Cover for extra insulation and heat-loss protection ,it’s used on top of the included cover. The regular cover that comes with the unit is sufficient for keeping out debris.
