A: Hello, due to your respond, I returned the pool because I did not want to spend buying another pump for about $25. But Sara answered as Bike pump is fine. It's so confusing.

A: Yes, use a net or strainer to get out leaves, grass bugs. Add a capful or 2 of bleach at night, add more water. Put a tarp over it when not in use.

A: This pool does not have a pump to clean it if that’s what you’re asking. To inflate it, we used an electric pump we have for air mattresses (it has interchangeable spouts).

Q: Can you use a pool pump with the Seascape Family Pool, 8.5-ft x 5.75-ft x 20-in?

A: Yes, we are using Intex 1000 GPH filter pump to keep the pool clean. Just make sure to manually fill the pump lines with water before turning it on and to weigh the inlet and outlet down with some weights so they dont fall out of the pool. The pool doesn't have inlet and outlet ports - so pump lines have to go over the edge.

Q: I have the pool set up in the yard on the grass. When I open the drain cover nothing happens. The weight of the water keeps the opening firmly pressed into the ground. Any Suggestions?
