Q: I used to use Certo Lite for making jam because it used only 4.5 cups of sugar. How much sugar does Bernardin Use?

A: The regular Bernardin pectin uses more sugar than the lite brands do. I have not used a Bernardin lite to make a equal comparison with Certo lite.

A: I used to use Certo lite for jam because it used less sugar....I believe only 4.5 cups sugar. Since Kraft bought Certo they have discontinued the Lite version. How much sugar does Bernardin use?
