Breaks very easily, says good for garden, not at all. Used it for peas, beans, tomatoes, and cukes, and broke in a few days.

Decent twine

Used it to wrap around cedar trees for winter protection. Nice to see that it was all a similar diameter and strong. Sometimes, you find quite thin areas with sisal twine but not this one. Didn't find a twine cutter with it but not a big deal there.

Tie your projects up

It is a good, strong utility twine and not as likely to come undone as nylon cording does. Useful in the garden and around the house. Good value for your money as well. It is strong enough to use in small construction projects but not recommended for heavy jobs unless it is doubled up.

Q: What is the average diameter? I understand it’s not a constant, but an average indicator would be helpful.

A: The average diameter for "medium" is 3/32" or 2.38 mm. I use it only for wrapping trees in winter, so constant diameter is not an issue. That said, the diameter seems to be quite consistent.

Q: How does one get the string sarted? At the opposite end of the bonus cutter there are 2 ends of the string exposed about 1/2" each. I yanked on both with my fingers to see which would be easier to allow me to start using the string and neither would move.

A: No, there is no indicator, as the sisal twine cut end is slightly loops and tucked under the coiled portion, since it’s all the same colour it sometimes get hidden.
