The Apprentice comes ready to shoot with finger rollers, arrow rest, two Safetyglass™ arrows. The recommended age range for children is four to seven years old. This 27” axle-to-axle bow is right-handed and features durable composite limbs with an 8.5-inch brace height, a continuous draw weight up to 13.5 lb., and a continuous draw length up to 24-inches. Color options include Flo Green and Flo Orange. It’s never too early to share Bear with the next generation of archers.

Bear needs to put some innovation into their youth

Needs serious improvements! Adjustability is embarrassingly lacking. After a month draw weight decreased mysteriously. Has potential, but Bear needs to put some innovation into their youth bows.

Leaves something to be desired.

It's inexpensive and serves it purpose, but there are parts that are extremely cheap and poorly made. Mainly the arrow rest. Also, there are no directions on how to change the draw length. All in all, it serves the purpose for my 6 year old.

My almost 6 year old loves his Christmas gift. Strongly recommend to a child getting into archery. If anyone has insight into adjusting draw length it would be greatly appreciated

Cheaply made youth products

Only giving it a 3 because my son loves using it. Seems cheaply made. We've only used it twice since he got it for Christmas. The black plastic piece the arrow sits on will not stay on even after using super glue it's fallen off 5-6 times and I've given up. Now one of the fetching (feathers) has fallen off as well. I emailed after our first time using it and I couldn't get the arrow rest to stay on and it took almost a month to get a response from the company. When we upgrade I will be trying to find another company.
