Bought this on the spot as my son needed a hockey helmet for a skating field trip short notice. Great helmet for my son, It was also on sale at the time of purchase. He's quite a bit taller than the average 9 yr old & fits an adult large very snugly. He said it's comfortable to wear and it is also adjustable. The snaps were a bit hard for him, but he got the hang of it very quickly.

Good helmet with nice padding. Side snaps go on a little differently than other helmets but no big deal. Fits securely and is comfortable.

Once you figure out how to adjust the helmet, it fits well. We almost returned it because it was big, Canadian tire staff was helpful showing us how to adjust this to make it fit my son. There’s plenty of room for his head to grow.

Q: I click on the 3800 size small and it shows a mask that Is a 2500. Mine came with a 2100. It is too small. How do I get the proper mask? I bought 2 helmets

A: Helmet combos will come with the corresponding sized mask, ie a Medium helmet will come with a medium cage. If the cage does not fit we recommend speaking with a Canadian Tire employee to determine which mask fits you.

Q: I need an Extra Large size hockey helmet? I checked a different sporting goods store and I tried on the Extra Large and it fits perfect. I don't see XL listed as a size on the website?

A: The largest size this helmet comes in is a Large. Rough guidelines would be as follows: SMALL = 21.2”-22.4” MED = 22” – 23.3” LG = 23.2” – 24.8” Your best option would be to visit the Canadian Tire store directly to view the helmets in person.
