My go to cleaning product for almost everything!

I use this on my kitchen sink and anywhere else that requires a soft abrasive and effective cleaner. This is the very best product to use on my stainless steel pots and pans to remove water marks, cooked on food etc. Makes stainless steel shine!! The liquid product works almost as well. I often use the liquid version on my white topped ceramic stove.

A product that works

This is a great product for cleaning multiple surfaces. I used it on the fibreglass on a motorhome, a propane stove and in a kitchen sink with great results on both. It removed years of dirt and grime off the motorhome.

Really good...especially if you give it time to work. Product must have been hold stock...very lumpy from moisture getting into the cardboard can. (Shake the can before you buy!)

Q: Will this product remove scratches and restore the finish on my stainless steel BBQ?

A: No, BKF Stainless Steel will not remove scratches; it will clean, remove fingerprints, light residues, smudges, water & grease marks. If the grill has not been cleaned in a while we recommend our BKF Liquid to clean then our Stainless Steel to shine and protect.

Q: I'm just curious if this is a different brand of a similar product we used to use to clean desks at school in the 80's called Old Dutch cleanser powder? Will Bar Keepers Friend work the same way and/or is it a re-brand of the same product?

Q: Is bar keepers friend safe for slate or quartz?

A: We do not recommend BKF on Slate or Quartz as we are an acid based product. If left on too long it might possible damage the surface. Quick contact time with good rinsing does not present a problem.

Q: Would it be suitable for Cleaning (soak) a Polypropylene 1 micron water filter with rust stains.

A: We do not recommend the powder for this application. We would instead recommend our Bar Keepers Friend MORE as it is a pure liquid and should not mess with the filter. We would not want the powder to possibly plug up the filter.

A: Yes, you can use Bar Keepers Friend on glass shower doors, both clear and frosted. Please always test in a corner section and do not rub with extreme force. We are actually famous for doing this exact type of cleaning in New Zealand and it has been posted on you-tube.
