Thin, poor quality, and package was short a stake

One pack was short a stake. These stakes are extremely thin, some are split. There is no way these stakes will hold up my tomato plants

Natural products that do naturally break.

a year ago

It's not a steel rod so expect it to break if you are jamming it into hard (eg. clay) soil. As long as you understand its limits, it's a good buy, a natural, safe product (vs. plastic crumbling into your soil over time) and reasonably-priced. Used in my garden for supporting bean stalks and tomato plants (with store twist ties). Should last you a few seasons before it splinters at its ends (driving it into the wet ground) or breaks in half. It's a good buy.
