Bought two of these cushions (AutoTrends Gel Car Seat Cushion, Black)from Canadian Tire while the promotion sale was still in effect. tried them on the car seats. The quality seem alright. Fair price for what I apid, but the regular price seemed too hight. Glad I got them for the sales price.

Q: From the picture and the gel seat itself, why would the gel grids be open at the top instead of closed like the bottom?

A: The open grid allows air circulation. A closed grid could hold moisture on hot days and give you a wet bottom.
