Do not purchase

Purchased this item only to find out that there is no install support from manufacturer. There are no qualified persons at this store or anywhere close that can even install it. I returned it and found a similar item with full install support and documentation for specific vehicles
Shame on Canadian for even having this item on the shelf

Useless purchase

There is no installation manual inside. If you go to the official website, the manual is only available for certified dealers. Canadian Tire itself does nothing about it. An absolute disappointment and a useless purchase. Will definitely return it.

Don’t buy from Canadian tire

This should not be bought from Canadian Tire, it has to be flashed before it can be used and there is no Canadian tire store I. Regina that does it. All shop I called will not flash it unless you bought it from them. So it is a paper weight

A: I think no the starter would be compatible but you will also need the control module that's appropriate to your vehicle. Best thing would be to talk to an installer. The control module needs to be programmed to your vehicle, not just anyone can do this. From what I understand Canadian Tire may be able to program them but I had my installer do it .

A: No it won’t work on your car, and it’s only 1/2 of a kit. It requires special programming using directed software, another cable and a laptop. Unlike other remote starters, you cannot make programming adjustments to this one without it. My recommendation to you is to RUN from this and buy something else like I did.
