It only had one job...

...cut grass.
It doesn't do it.
I had to double check I didn't install it backwards.
I don't understand how this made it to market. It's useless.
Save yourself some time and buy something else.
Canadian Tire should stop selling this paperweight.

wouldn't even cut my grass, I thought I put it on backwards. After double checking it was on right, took it back and bought the name brand blade for my mower

universal mulch blade

I bought this 21" blade because the original replacement was not available. It mounted O.K. and runs smoothly, BUT it does not cut nearly as well as the original. It consistently leaves an un-cut swath where the wheels press down the grass, whereas the original blade was able to pull up the grass and cut it. I do not recommend this replacement generic.

Q: Which way should the universal blade be installed Universal Mulch Blade Product #60-7153-0 Package does not indicate which way to install the mower blade. It actually goes on both ways - how can I tell if it is correct.

A: The “wing tips” on the ends of the blade face up. This creates the lift required for proper cutting.
