A: Hi there, Keith! Many of our customers have had success with these types of repairs with Flex Tape. We must mention, though, that certain plasticized materials may contain a high concentration of poly-olefins. By their very nature, Poly-olefins are designed to resist adhesion from other substances. We recommend testing a small area first when applying Flex Tape to plastic surfaces and materials before completing the entire project. When patching a pool, here are some friendly Flex Tape tips: 1. Start with a clean surface free of grease, oil, and dirt. 2. Cut your Flex Tape larger than the area of the leak using a utility knife. 3. Apply Flex Tape to the interior of the pool leak with firm pressure smoothing out all water and air. (Having a board placed on the opposite side, while you are applying the tape, will assist in applying the necessary amount of pressure.) 4. Repeat the process above by applying Flex Tape to the exterior of the pool leak. 5. The two pieces of Flex Tape will then form a super strong bond with themselves. A: Hi Rey! Yes, Flex Tape has been used by many customers with success to repair inflatables. We suggest deflating, laying it flat, and applying the tape over the leak.
