Does excellent job.

Have pneumatic & cordless power finishing stapler. All do a great job for their intended purpose. These electric staplers don't handle material such as MDF well since it is a very fibrous & very dense. My pneumatic finishers/brad nailers have to be cranked up to set the fastener. These home-use staplers are more for small jobs like putting up posters & light framed pictures onto wallboard (without too many coats of paint). Keeping that in mind, we get lots of use & are very pleased with this stapler. Its power & depth setting really works well. And being light duty, there aren't many jams. In fact, there weren't any. Sets brad nails equally well. I'd recommend this tool to a friend. Why? 6 years since we bought this tool & never a problem. That's all you can ask.

Only good 50% of the time

I will start out with the positive aspects of the stapler. It is easy to hold and use. The grip makes it easy to hold and the tension is light enough for me to easily work the stapler. I have rheumatoid arthritis and I can use this stapler with ease. Now my issue with it is that no matter what tension or size staple I use it wont sink evenly. It always kinks in the middle and I have to finish by hammering it flat. This is only the second time I've used it and I was lucky to get 50% of the staples to sink flat without kinking in the middle or side. I remedied the problem by leaning over the top and putting a lot of pressure on it using my weight to sink the staples and it allowed me to finish the project I had started. I would like to say I tested other surfaces and different depths to be sure it was not the cause. I also am using the recommended staple for the gun. I did not try any brad nails with this stapler. I am disappointed and would like a refund or a resolution.

Ok when worked

Bought this for ease of putting up decorations and such for the winter months. We were excited to save our hands the workout of a year. When we began using it the results were wonderful but out of nowhere it just stopped working. We are planning on returning it but where it is discontinued there isn't much hope in getting another. Great name brand but apparently we bought the lemon.
